Now is A Buying Opportunity…

For quite a while now, I have been investing in Stock Market. This is one of my chosen vehicles to build my Wealth Fund. I keep on consistently investing fixed amount of money every month, as this is one of the strategies to lessen the risk in investing in the Stock Market. And when there is an opportunity to buy more stocks, just like now, I take it to my advantage for I can increase my Wealth Fund bigger and faster.

I want to share the article below from my mentor Bo Sanchez that now is a right time to invest in the Stock Market and buy more stocks.

Last week, someone asked me, “Bo, is it the right time to invest in the stock market? I’m scared. There’s so much crisis happening in the world!”

I understand why people are scared.

First, there was chaos in Egypt. And then Libya. Some say the Middle East is like a bomb waiting to explode. Because of the turmoil there, oil prices have gone up.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, the earthquake and tsunami crushed a part of Japan two weeks ago. And the radioactive scare continues as I write this to you.

No doubt about it.

People are scared.

So, should you wait for things to settle down before you get into the Stock Market?

A Lesson Worth Billions

I have a financial mentor who’s a Billionaire.

He taught me a lesson that I’ll never forget.

My mentor said, “Bo, my wealth today was built in crisis. Not in good times. Not when everything was smooth and happy. I built my wealth when everyone was afraid.”

He told me his war stories. (I love his war stories!)

When Ninoy Aquino was shot in 1983 in the tarmac, chaos ruled the day. Demonstrations burst into the streets. The country was going to the dogs. Wealthy Filipinos fled to other countries. Our stock market crashed. But what was my mentor doing? As everyone was selling, he was buying shares in the Stock Market.

Every month, things got worse, and the stock market dove even lower, and everyone was ten times scared. But my mentor was still buying!

But in 1986, when Cory Aquino was proclaimed President in 1986, lovely hope returned to the Philippines. And the stock market rose like a rocket to the sky. Everyone started buying.

What was my mentor doing? He was doing the exact opposite: Selling and making a huge profit.

In Cory’s Presidency, there were six coup d’etat. Six rebellions! And every time there was a rebellion, people sold their stocks. In every dip, my mentor dove in and bought shares.

The worst coup d’etat was in 1989 led by RAM’s Gringo Honasan. The Stock Market collapsed again as foreigners and locals sold like crazy. And my mentor was so happy. So many cheap companies to buy! And that’s what he did.

That rebellion was squashed, and people went back to the stock market. As it went up, my mentor was selling again.

My mentor said, “You can be sure that whenever there was a crisis, I was there buying. I bought only giant companies that were earning a lot of money. Nothing was wrong with them. The only reason why their prices were going down was because everyone is scared.”

Don’t Let Fear Stop You

       There’s a crisis in the world today.

       It’s a wonderful time to invest.

Success Planning

 

“To humans belong the plans of the heart,

Do you have a business you want to start? Have you done your business plan for it?

Every business must have a plan that serves as your blueprint to accomplish our goals. Without a plan, we will not succeed. A plan gives us the clear picture on what we want to achieve (OBJECTIVE), how we are going to achieve it (STRATEGIES), and how we know we are making progress (MEASURE).

Some of us do not give importance to planning. Or, we do not take action or neglect to plan especially for our dreams. If we fail to plan, then we plan to fail. The verse for today points us out that God has given us the responsibility to make plans. We should not wait that God give us the plan. God is waiting for us to make plans, and then He will guide us along the way.

Another important ingredient for a success planning is what is pointed out of the verse Proverbs 16:3:

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

It is God’s promise that if we dedicate and commit our plans to Him, it will succeed. Committing our undertakings to God simple means we handover them to the Lord, as in roll it away. Then, expect and believe that God will direct us towards achieving our goals.

Increase Your Wealth Thermostat

What is Wealth Thermostat? How does a person’s wealth thermostat affect their money spending in times of prosperity or when they made a jackpot in their business, or they got a bonus, or a promotion?

John Calub explains it better the meaning of wealth thermostat in his newsletter as quoted below:

Hi Everyone!  In the last few days, I've had so many graduates and friends talking to me about the biggest lotto prize ever in the Philippines.  After hitting the P700 million prize mark, a lot of Filipinos across the country got caught up in wanting to buy a ticket to win the unbelievably huge amount. Then somebody who bought a lotto ticket from Subic finally won. The huge majority of Filipinos were shocked and a lot felt sad and dismayed that they did not win the prize.

Otherwise, he will just lose everything real fast!

Same goes to everyone on the face of this planet. Until you can program your mind for success, you will continue losing everything that you get or earn.  So before going for any dream or goal, why not take the time to discover first how you can program your wealth thermostat to high?”

Your wealth thermostat is your mindset on how your mind is program to handle big money. If your wealth thermostat is low, your subconscious mind tells you to splurge your big money right away. But if your wealth thermostat is high, your behaviour is to manage your money well and invest it in vehicles to make it grow which is one of the secrets to be truly rich.

Wealth thermostat may also referred to as psychological wallet. In Bo Sanchez's book 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich, he mentioned about psychological wallet. Externally, we seem to want to be rich, but internally, we're deeply conflicted in our unconscious desires. Psychologically, we don't want to be rich. Our minds have been programmed to resist money.

Believe and NEVER QUIT!

They Almost Quit...

They almost quit the real estate game. One month...two months passed and there was no deal and no money was coming in. Then the third month and still no money. 97% of people who start out in real estate investing quit on the 89th day. Good thing this team...did not.
